Once all data points are completed and validated, you’re ready for the last step: generating your final report.
In the Karomia platform, this is called the “Report for Publication”. Per disclosure (e.g. E1-1), it consolidates all data points into a clear, compliant report, formatted with text and tables to meet disclosure requirements while avoiding redundancies.
It ensures that no information from your data point answers is lost while staying as close as possible to their original wording. This minimizes the need for a detailed review.
The format follows the “Sustainability Statement” of the ESRS Standards and is the official version for publication.
An example of how the disclosure report is displayed in your Karomia platform
When creating your CSRD report, you’ll be asked to select a language for the Report for Publication. This setting determines the language of your final, officially published CSRD report, including the XBRL-tagged format.
However, data point answers will always remain in English regardless of the selected publication language.

Note: Check your national requirements to ensure compliance. For example, in Belgium, the CSRD report must be published in one of the country’s official languages.

You can access the Report for Publication through the Progress Page. Within the report, you can scroll through the entire document or use the navigation menu on the left.
Each disclosure requirement is clearly marked as either generated or not yet generated, making it easy to track progress.

We are in the process of automating the (re)generation of the Report for Publication. For now, if you need any part of the report generated or regenerated, please contact us via the chat bubble.

Once a Disclosure Requirement Report is generated, you can edit it using the built-in editor.
While the goal of editing Data Point answers is to ensure complete and accurate data (see details here), the Report for Publication focuses on refining wording and document structure.
