A legal representative is a person officially registered in your company's management bodies at the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (KBO/BCE).
This often include roles such as:
You can verify who is registered as legal representative for your company on the public KBO portal: kbopub.economie.fgov.be
Search your company by name or enterprise number, then go to Functions to see the listed representatives.
💡 Tip: Legal representative status at the KBO follows from what is published in the bylaws (articles of association) and official appointment deeds. Changes to the KBO can take several weeks to appear after a notarial deed. If you were recently appointed, this may explain a mismatch.
If you are not the legal representative yourself, you can easily involve them via Kube ESG — no manual verification needed.
